.What if I don't have a paypal account?

You can still use a credit card or pay with an e-check through our secure Paypal Shopping Cart system. If you have a problem with either of these options please email us.

2. Why do my orders take longer to arrive when I use E-check payment?

E-check payments take 3-4 days to process. We will ship your order just as soon as your e-check payment has been cleared.  Paypal doesn't release information for the order until the payment is cleared.

3. How will my order be shipped?

We carefully wrap your items to avoid damage from moisture.

Domestic US orders will generally be sent by Priority Mail which includes delivery confirmation.  Pattern only orders will be sent in a flat rate Priority Mail envelope.

International orders may be sent First Class to keep the cost down.


4. Shipping to the US and Canada is a flat rate.  $5 for any size order.

We realize that may seem excessive if you only want one pattern or ball of yarn.  We have evaluated carefully the different ways of shipping our products and have found that Priority Mail is really the best option both for us and you.  It is easy and cost effective for us and we have found that packages get to our customers in a timely manner with less chance of damage.

 

5. Why is International shipping so much more expensive?

It is hard for us to know what shipping will cost until we know the package weight. After your order is packed we will refund the difference between the amount you were charged and either the actual cost or $5US, whichever is greater.

 

6.  Is there Sales Tax?

Shipments going to Iowa addresses will be charged sales tax.  For any other addresses, any tax due is the purchaser's responsibility.

 

7.  Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.  These charges are the buyer's  responsibility.  Please check with your country' customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.  These charges are normally collected by the delivering shipping company when you receive the item.  We do not mark merchandise values below actual value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International goverment regulations prohibit this.
