Online Knitting Class

I have been taking this class through Craftsy and having a blast with it! Ragga shares some of the local flavor of  Iceland and their sheep as well as giving lots of great techniques and tips for knitting a beautiful Icelandic sweater from the top down. Here is my yoke. I chose navy, white and a dark red in Lite Lopi yarn. I love the colors together. The red will also be used down the front edging and for the buttonholes. I hope you will check out the many great classes on

Online Knitting Class

I love to learn new knitting techniques and challenge myself to try new things. I discovered Craftsy classes a few months ago and I am hooked! There are so many classes to choose from and they have a great platform that encourages participation and discussion.

I am having a fabulous time taking this class from Carol Feller! She is a great teacher and designer. I have knit simple cabled sweaters before but this one has several different cables to keep track of. Carol works you through how to do each step of the process including how to change the shaping for a personally tailored fit.

So far, I have knit the body of my sweater up to the underarms and I have one sleeve finished. Only one sleeve to go!

I encourage you to check out Craftsy and the great classes and tutorials they offer there.
